I’ve had lots of people ask what time my surgery is, so I thought I should share that it is 7:30 a.m. tomorrow. I’ve had happy thoughts all day while thinking about the many things I may be able to do when I’m breathing better after the surgery.
Also, I had a terrific trip to speak in Pulaski, Virginia on Tuesday. My good friend Mary Lee Keeler accompanied me, which meant much laughter and fun on the ride up and back. I knew I was supposed to keep that speaking commitment and thought there was one person who especially needed to hear my message of hope. After the meeting, a lady came up and gave me a big hug and said, “You were here for me tonight. I can’t go into all the details, but know that you were here for me.”
I am blessed and very glad to be able to keep on keeping on.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support! We’ll give an update as soon as possible after tomorrow’s surgery.
Ready for a breath of fresh air,
